Projects

In addition to introducing our company, this website was created to facilitate sharing my work on various projects with other geologists and historians.

Some projects are ongoing; others are long since finished or inactive. Some of the material has been published; some, such as conference presentations, are unpublished; some are simply material that might otherwise be lost or, at least, harder to find.

Many of the projects are in Ethiopia where I first worked as a young man in the 1970s and where I am delighted to be working still. Several projects, both geological and historical, extend out of Ethiopia across East Africa, and others are linked to exploration in Australia and PNG.
